Workshop Overview

Attend this workshop if you implement continuous improvement initiatives as part of your role or simply want to deepen your existing process mapping skills. The aim of the workshop is to improve your ability to establish and implement process reviews.

Who Should Attend?

This workshop is open to all Academic and Professional staff. No previous process mapping experience is required.

Learning Outcomes

In this workshop, you will learn to:

  • define process review objectives
  • identify key stakeholders impacted by the process review
  • identify the goals, scope, outcomes and relationships of specific processes
  • identify the symptoms and causes of common process dysfunctions
  • understand process design principles
  • apply implementation techniques for introducing change.

Format

This workshop runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm and lunch will be provided. It will start on time and be interactive, consisting of group activities and discussions.

Pre-work

Participants have the option to work with a given example or to work with a process of their knowledge or interest. Those opting for the latter are recommended to bring suitable process information.
